This morning on the Today Show, CNBC’s Trish Regan introduced the Today crew to the CNBC app we developed for the Sony dash Personal Internet Viewer.

Keeping in mind that the dash is a platform for quick, easy Internet access, we designed this app with a simple interface for one-touch access to all the key information that CNBC offers. Users who follow the market can access news, hot stocks, and market headlines at any time from their bedside or in the kitchen using the app, which also has a customizable stock list and ability to email articles.

The CNBC app will be featured on the dash along with over 1,000 other apps that are highlighted in the product startup video we made for the device, including apps for watching Netflix movies, listening to music on Pandora, checking email, receiving weather updates, and much more. When people can’t get to their TVs, computers, and other devices, the dash is a great tool for staying connected. The dash can be pre-ordered on SonyStyle.com now, and will be available at the end of this month.
