Went to Art Center again today in Pasadena to review portfolios of the graduating class. There was some great work and it was really nice to catch up with old friends.

Boeing Creative Workshop

We just finished holding a creative workshop for Boeing over the past 2 days to share with their team our process and to give them an insight into the way we work here at Hello. There were about 27 people that attended from all over the U.S. and we got to show them some of the R+D work we do here in the studio as well. It was a lot of fun and can’t wait for the new 787 Dreamliner to come out!

We had our traditional pumpkin carving today for Halloween. Look who dressed up for work…

Dermalogica Shoot

We did a green screen shoot today for the new Dermalogica web site we are working on. We got to work with a professional skin care therapist and got lots of great tips for keeping our skin nice and healthy.

On Newsstands

We were pleasantly surprised to find that our Hello mug made the cover of this years HOW Self-Promotion Annual. Definitely put a smile on our faces.

A Day at LACMA

We’ve started working with LACMA and got a tour today which was great. This museum continues to transform and many more exciting things are coming as they are building another Renzo Piano building.

Park[ing] Day

Today was Park[ing] Day and there was a mini-park right next to Hello this morning-in one of the parking spots out front. More green!

Interactive Parking

LA is known for it’s car culture. That also means parking can be a pain, especially at the mall. I was pleasantly surprised to find this new parking system at the Century City mall. Basically there are sensors above each space and the red lights indicate spaces that are taken and the green ones indicate the ones that are still open.

Looks like there are plenty of spaces left.

Red means it’s taken. Too bad for you.

Green means available and our favorite color too.
