Tron is in Town

Tron pulls our nostalgic strings, bringing us back to a time when the personification of programs and hardware was so fascinating because we were in an age where people knew little about how computers worked. It’s refreshing to go back to the beginning and observe how far we’ve come since then.

In celebration of the Eames film, “Powers of Ten,” events are being held all over the world throughout the rest of this month. We commemorated the film at the Eames Office.

Thursday, October 7th, 2010This Sunday, October 10th, 2010, marks the anniversary of Charles and Ray Eames short documentary film, “Powers of Ten.” The 1977 film has been shown millions of times due to its capacity to expand the way we think and view our world. We’ll be visiting the exhibition at the Eames Office this weekend in honor of celebrating the history of the Eames and their contributions.

It was an unforgettable experience to immerse ourselves in what designers and architects around the world have created, bringing together great design and sustainable functionality. The result was awe-inspiring architecture filled with each country’s specialties from technology to cuisine to art.
