Loaf Love On the Go

Friday, February 25th, 2011

We’re looking forward to meeting our friends at Tillamook next week as the Loaf Love Tour makes its way to Los Angeles.

Loaf Love Tour mobile site

We created a mobile component to the Loaf Love Tour site, giving those who are always on the road easy access to the tour on a mobile device. The tour began in 2009 as part of Tillamook’s mission of delivering tasty cheese to the people, and is coming to California from March 4th to May 14th. We can’t wait to see the new Loafster convertible roll up to our city.

Herman Miller Store in Tokyo

Tuesday, February 8th, 2011

While in Japan, we paid a visit to the newly opened Herman Miller flagship store in Tokyo. Located in the Marunouchi shopping district, the store was designed by Torafu Architects. We browsed through a wide array of items from classics like Eames molded plywood chairs to limited-edition House Industries wooden toy blocks. The space is inviting and we liked testing out the different chairs in the “Try a Chair” zone.

Have you seen one of these before? Wish we had room in the suitcase.

The store has a relaxing “at home” atmosphere with areas designed especially for trying out pieces of furniture.

Type on the Street

Monday, February 7th, 2011

Some of our photos of typography while roaming the streets of Tokyo. The neon is very cool and it’s ingenious how the type is stretched out on the ground so it’s readable while sitting in a car driving down the street.

In celebration of the new site launch, our awesome clients at Tillamook sent us a couple tubs of their ice cream. Some people celebrate with champagne, we celebrate with ice cream. Yum.
